I will admit to you a little secret. When I was in London, I went to see Falstaff there at the glorious Covent Garden. But it was the day after I had flown in, and I was desperately, unreasonably tired from the jet lag. So, in the second act... I started to sleep. I missed a bit of the plot, I felt very disappointed, and I wish it hadn't of happened that way. Needless to say, when it came to Sydney, I decided to go and see it again, and uh, catch up a bit. So, that was last Wednesday night, a comedic opera with Astin. I wore a lovely 50s chiffon dress with patent accessories and crystal drop earrings. So simple. I love it.
