Hi and welcome! My name is Ellen and I'm the girl behind the blog and in front of the camera. I'm based in Sydney, Australia. 

Where did the name Wild Tea Party come from, you ask? A dear friend of mine suggested when I was a teenager that the wildest kind of party I would have when I was all grown up was a lady-like tea party with roses upon roses and splashes of a little boozy something in the tea cups. She had no idea how accurate she was...

Aside from an addiction to tea, I love vintage clothes, modern shoes, jewelry and lipstick. I believe vintage should be worn, not collected, and re-interpreted in the fast world of fashion. I believe in buying the best you can afford, having a minimal footprint with fashion consumption, wearing what makes you look and feel good, and that lipstick is a girl's best friend (sorry diamonds!). This is my space to share outfits, styling advice and handy tips, and tutorials, so check in regularly.

When I'm not hanging out in the blogosphere, you'll find me running a freelance writing business and studying personal styling. I might also be sipping G&Ts from fine bone china with my friends.
