To kick things off on this sweet-toothed blog I decided to include one of my most popular afternoon tea recipes.... Yes friends, stop begging, whining and pleading for me to make it.
You will need:
3 mars bars
3 cups of rice bubbles
200g of dairy milk chocolate
1. Grease a slice tin.
2. Combine melted butter, softened mars bars and rice bubbles in a bowl and spread into baking tin evenly to create the base of the slice.
3. Melt the 200g of dairy milk chocolate in a saucepan or in a microwave safe bowl and pour over the slice. If you feel like decorating it evenly space smarties or very thin slices of mars bars on top.
4. Refrigerate overnight.
5. Cut into slices (usually with great difficulty!) and arrange on a pretty tray.
6. Share with loved ones & friends (but not pets. Chocolate is bad for anything with paws).
