The race that stops the nation

Otherwise known at Melbourne Cup Day. Yesterday was an excuse for most people to put on a hat, a dress and a pair of heels and waste a few dollars betting on a horse that probably won't win. But it's good fun. Especially as I won most glamorous hat and brought home a bottle of champagne. My hat choice this year was influenced by last year, when the feather in my 40s cap bent and never went straight again... so I picked something less likely to get ruined.

As you can see, my Anthropologie cardi made it's debut, as did my Irregular Choice heels. I love them.

30s cocktail hat: Ebay
Dress: Cue
Cardi: Anthropologie 'Imelda'
Stockings: Post
Irregular Choice 'So Very Cherry' heels: Modcloth
Art Deco Bracelet and ring: Jean Jean Vintage

Love WTP x

P.S. I'm finally getting to a store update on the weekend. Finally. I've been so lazy lately and have all these fabulous items shot but haven't uploaded.

Great outfit :) Love your shoes. Those stockings are divine!

Sounds like you were having a lucky streak hat winnings and all :)
