I had a very happy ‘unbirthday’ at work yesterday. Due to my birthday being in the holiday period, the girls at work decided to make a big fuss of me early. It was really lovely. We had deliciously rich, dense (alcohol tinged) chocolate cake, we went to Italian for lunch, and I got some lovely presents. I am particularly fond of the marcasite brooch from my boss who dug it out of her own collection. We think it’s from the 1930s. I also got Madmen season 2, and some lovely body products. Then the girls got me a lovely OPI care set and some nail polish. Yippee! I also love my vintage birthday card. So cute. I bet that puppy above is called Fifi.

And here’s our luncheon affair! We all felt sick from the richness of the food, including Katy’s uber creamy pollo risotto.
