Anyway, it was one of those days that was nice, but nothing special. I spent most of it wanting a beaker full of Earl Grey tea (yum) but I did brighten my outfit with a velvet blue bow. I also got a tiny glimpse into Jessica from Coco Repose's sewing room, which was quite delightful. I did realise during lunch after a long think along the lines of 'Why does her name sound familiar?' that the PR who sent the images along to my co-worker was Louise from Digs Frocks and Books, and then I felt silly for not saying a proper blogger hello.
So now I've come home and I was going through my spare wardrobe and found all my dress-ups. I found my little kid mittens, and my red riding hood cape, amongst other things. I'm going to give both of them a good soaking so they look fresh and new, and put them in my, what do we call them, 'Glory Box' along with all those adorable baby knits I kept for my dolls. Anyway, I thought I'd share a few things that made me feel a little happy when I came home. They're possibly inspired by the thought of Valentine's Day.
The fabric close ups are my pink 50s junior dress and my magenta lace dress from my friend Lil. There's also two strands of pink beads, my ballerina bunny, a vintage fan, my owl cushion from etsy, as well as my birthday card from LN. And my childhood mittens, and a velvet pink hair bow.
Yeah, somethings make me happy.
(Country bunnies in yellow envelopes -thanks Sam!- and gift vouchers from Nordic Fusion -whee!- and 50s pink and red bow skirts -YAYness- also do make me happy. My mail box was full today!).
See you after the weekend! Happy Valentine's for Sunday everyone. Wishing you all much love :)
