The Poodle hair tutorial

New year, more hair tutes, I really, really promise. Recently I did a shoot with a poodle hairdo, and I figured I'd share this with you. Not only is this do great for hot summer days, it's also party-worthy and very easy to achieve. Who doesn't like that?

Start with curled hair - don't separate the ringlets or brush it in any way. Note however that the curls don't have to be perfect - I did these curls with a curling wand without a mirror. I just grabbed a section, curled and then pinned to cool, working my way around my head.
Tip your head upside down and brush it smooth towards the front of your head, then, grab a section to one side and twist it. Pin to secure. Repeat this on the other side.

Lastly, make sure the back is pinned up. Now you'll have a wild bundle of hair to pin to your head. Starting pinning the curls to your head, keeping them as tidy as possible and covering the securing pins. Work back to front and move things around until you get the best shape.

Once everything in pinned in, hair spray to high heaven! Then decorate if you want to wear it to a party! I like adding sparkly clips. You can also add a scarf for a casual day-to-day look.

So that's it, pretty easy huh? Let me know how you go if you try this :)

OMG! I love your hair! Those curls look perfect, and your hair color is just lovely. I love the way you wrapped those curls around the top of your head. It gives off an illusion that you have short curly hair, once you out that bandana into place. Good job with the tutorial! Thanks for sharing that! Kudos and stay gorgeous! :)
