Emerald eyes

If you follow me on IG, you know I was pretty excited when I snagged this dress on sale. I love it, it's so unexpected to have a beaded kitty cat pocket.I think this dress is a wonderful example of what I love about vintage: the fact people put effort into such detail on a dress would never happen today. Clothes simply aren't made the same way, unless you pay for haute couture, and I dunno about you, but I don't have the budget to wear that sort of thing every day.

These photos were taken a bit over a week ago now, when Sydney was tailing off on the Autumn colours. I was pretty excited to get under these trees and play in the leaves, being watched by tourists and the swans. I'm getting rather used to being watched in public these days.
