The lady of the house

Please don't judge me, but I really like leopard print. Like, REALLY like leopard print. I'm not even going to apologise. I know some people think it's tacky (and don't get me wrong, it can be!) but I'm just going to ignore said people who shove it as a rule into the Ick pile. Because my leopard print anything is not tacky, at least, that's what I tell myself.

The dress I'm wearing here is from Elise Design, and I love it like mad. It's so comfortable and I love the colour. It also goes perfectly with my heels. I accessorised with these wonderful vintage deadstock gloves and my leopard bow beret. I'm trying to make the effort to wear more hats, as they're such a fun accessory and they really do make me happy, even if I do get stared at for wearing something that's not a beanie or a floppy felted 70s style hat in public. They seem to be the only acceptable cool weather head wear. So, I'm doing it, I'm going to wear more hats. Just you watch!

These images were shot at Strickland House in Vaucluse, Sydney. It's just a stunning property with spectacular views, sweeping gardens and even a little beach. I'm keen to shoot there again.

Stunning photographs! I can see why you like that dress so much, it's gorgeous. Such a fab colour against the leopard print too. I wish you luck with wearing more hats, I would like to as well, but it's hard isn't it? x

This outfit is truly fabulous! I have never been game to tackle leopard print ~ I think because I am afraid it will look tacky. You however, pull it off with style and aplomb, and show the world how it's done à la vintage glamour! A stunning look indeed. And the color of your dress is just ten kinds of fabulous. I love it. ❤
