The day I fell in love with a Chevrolet

This was the perfect outfit on a warm spring Sunday to visit the Rock 'N' Roll & Alternative Markets at Sydney Uni. It was such a bright, hot, sunny day that I was terrified of getting burned. Thank heavens for sunscreen! I was glad to see plenty of vintage for sale, and plenty of vintage ladies. It was so good to see all those beautiful faces from Instagram and real life. I behaved in a most dignified way towards my wallet too, only picking up my 'Way of the Welt' brooch I posted on IG which I admit I had planned from the very beginning to get.

And of course, outside I found a white 50s Chevrolet. OMG, where do I get one of these? Now I totally get why Lana Del Rey is always referencing them haha.

A Typical Girl Vintage 50s blouse, MC by Alexander McQueen belt, Pin Up Girl Clothing Jenny Spanish fan skirt, Wicked Magpie 50s bakelite earrings, The Vintage Mistress Enid Collins inspired bag, 50s sunnies, Miss L Fire wedges.

Those cars!!! I don't think I've seen a car from the 50s that I haven't loved, they were all so beautifully made back then...I live in hope that they will start making beautiful cars again one of these days! Those Miss L Fire Wedges are fabulous, as is your bag - I know I've already told you so on instagram but it warrants being said so again :P

I miss the RnR market so much! Unfortunately I discovered it a little too late and was only able to attend 2 when I was in Sydney... :(

And yes, Chevys are beautiful. The best one would have to be the '57 Chevy Bel Air. But I wouldn't mind a soft pink late 1950s Cadillac too! ;D

I can see why ~ it totally goes with your outfit! I could see you cruising along the coast in that Chevvy. It would be awesome. ❤
