Sometimes, a girl has got to do, what a girl has got to do, and this girl is tidying her room! Dusting books, tidying up clothes and shoes and bags, and all the yearly paper. Cleaning under the bed. Vacuuming! Dear me! This is unheard of!
Ah well, what can one do when you know Santa Claus is coming to town? I love the concept of Santa and get very cranky when kids say, ‘Santa isn’t real!’ because frankly, they’re only ruining the joy for themselves. Santa may not be sitting at your local shopping centre like adults lead you to believe, but Saint Nicholas is still a very real force in the world.
Moving on before I dissolve into pure nostalgia of Christmas Eve nights bouncing off the walls….
It's been a busy time on my end. Not only did I got to Christmas Carols on the weekend to see my friend LN perform on the piano at Church, I have also played an epic family game of 'Who wants to be a millionaire?' with my boyfriend's family, and shopped up a storm (Yep, I support the Australian economy).
In the past few days I have bought:
-1 pair of skorts
-7 dresses
-3 skirts
-1 brooch
- 1 pair of earrings
- 1 top
Of course, in fairness, one of the dresses will be sold (it's a darling 50s dress that's too small and I bought it knowing that) and at least three others are for winter, so you won't see them for a few months yet. Otherwise, the rest will be filtering through my holiday wardrobe, and I'm looking forward to putting them to good use. :)
Anyway, must dash my dears, I'm off for a pedicure! The big question remains - pink or red nails?

Wow, wow, wow!!! That is one impressive list of purchases!! :) Hopefully we get to see some of them modelled soon? Hope the manicure went well and that you're having a terrific week!!
