I'm fairly sure I've mentioned before that my mother is awesome. Yes, I definitely have. We went shopping on Monday night together to round up some of the stray presents. We normally do this together every December, it's become a mini-tradition. After all, my mother is a civilized shopper. We always stop for a cuppa in the cafe in Myer (an Australian department store) and then find ourselves 'ooohing!' over the Christmas decorations in the trim department. The photos here though are of the David Jones Christmas display windows and the amazing three-storey-high tree and Swarovski Santa Garden in the Queen Victoria Building.
My mother also may or may not have puppy dog eyed me into buying her a Royal Doulton snow globe for Christmas. Who am I to say no to that?
