Madama Butterfly
I went to see my favorite opera last night, Madama Butterfly. Astin had never seen it before, so it was a treat for her too. I'm going to admit it... I cried. I get shivers every time I see it. I don't know why it's my favorite, it just is so sad.
I had been planning to wear something different, but Sydney's weather did a nose dive to under 20 degrees again (*sigh*) and threw buckets of water and wind at us so I went for this 50s knit dress. It's so cosy. Simple patent accessories and a peplum jacket finished the look off, as did my amazing art deco diamond and onyx pendant. Swoon. Oh, and sorry for the quality of the photos... Ast's iphone did it's best under the circumstances.

You look so pretty!
What is with this crazy weather anyway? 30 degrees one day, cold and wet the next...that's spring for you I guess.
