Lime time

Geeeeeez, where did this week go? These pics were from last Saturday and I've only just somehow gotten around to posting them because the days have simply skipped on by me. Do you all feel like we're on the downwards run now to the end of year? Between birthdays, engagements, Halloween, Melbourne Cup and Christmas events I'm already running out of weekends for the rest of the year - yikes!

It's pretty amazing that for the long weekend that marked the start of daylight savings we got super saiyan hot weather (showing my age there!). It's already got me in the mood to exercise more and just generally be outside because I'm feeling under the weather lately. Insomnia caused by medication means there's not much I can do to get around it and I'm looking as tired as I feel. Thank heavens for sunglasses.

I've worn this 50s top and skirt on the blog before about a year ago so it feels a bit like cheating, but then, I wear things more than once because that's how a real wardrobe works, isn't it? So I'm sure you don't mind seeing it again. Besides, I wanted to show off my new Luxulite set and it goes perfectly with this look. I love that this brooch and earrings are kind of witchy but not for Halloween month!

Speaking of, who is excited for Halloween? Not me, not I, no never *coughs*

Love WTP x

P.S. I've now got a Facebook page for A Wild Tea Party where you can follow along with extra pics, flash backs, and see exactly what's popping up on the blog in one handy place.

Ahhh that wisteria in your garden is gorgeous!!! Love the bright colours on this dress, so perfect for summer. I am so overwhelmed by how close we are getting to the holiday season - I was looking at both Halloween decorations AND Christmas decorations today. Gaahh!

Oh the colors! I can never wearing bright, saturated shades like this, but I love the cool, refreshing combination of the lime and aqua(?) blue on you. And your sunnies match! Ha! So cute!! ❤

Super lovely look!!! I only own one lime green dress (in general that colour can be tricky for me to pull off, as it tends to give my colouring a yellowish tinge) and I've been wearing it a lot this month, as it plays so nicely with Halloween colours like orange and black. In fact, I'm planning a post with it (and those shades) next week. :)

Wishing you a beautiful second half of October,
♥ Jessica

This is a cute ensemble! Yes, real wardrobe = repeating the same things again and again but with different accessories. You'ved nailed this colour combination perfectly. xo G
